‘Light Water, Dark Sky’ is an immersive three-dimensional digital art installation standing at an impressive 7m x 7m and will be situated on a floating pontoon in the middle of Leeds Dock. Created by leading digital artists Squidsoup, and based on an original commission by Quays Culture, ‘Light Water Dark Sky’ is made up of 6000 individually programmable lights that pulsate and change colour giving the impression of the movement of water.

We are very excited to announce that the installation will be accompanied by, and set to a track by the renowned electronic artist Four Tet.

Squidsoup have previously provided a manifestation of this artwork as the background performance for Four Tet's live set and his Boiler Room DJ set so we know this collaboration will be a huge success.

Guests will receive a pair of headphones and be guided on to the platform to experience Squidsoup's visual response to 'Unicorn' by Four Tet (from the Beautiful Rewind album).
