The Draft South Bank Leeds Regeneration Framework Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) has been produced to provide clear guidance for the future development of South Bank and to establish principles to drive the growth of the area.
We have been out to consultation on the draft SPD (which includes the vision for the redevelopment of Leeds Station) during November and December 2017. Thank you to everyone who took part by completing a questionnaire, emailing us, or having a chat with the team at one of our public drop in sessions in Leeds Station, the Tetley, Dock 29 or the Round Foundry.
Previous consultation in 2016 informed changes to the SPD including strengthening the role of the River Aire waterfront, refining the vision around green and open space including the City Centre Park, making culture a central principle within the document, and adding sections relating to climate change, ecology and biodiversity.
Just like 2016's consultation, all of the responses received in 2017 are now being collated and considered and will be used to update the SPD and Integrated Station Masterplan.
