Find out, as we take a close look at the many ways it’s now making the difference between winning and losing for the world’s best athletes. Tech isn’t just changing the game for athletes and their coaches by providing state-of-the-art digital monitoring to improve abilities, but also through the development of new and improved sports materials and designs that give them that much-sought-after edge. As well as revealing the many ways sport has embraced the digital age to enhance top athletic performance, we’ll also see how it has been used to create innovations in media coverage. Such innovations have redefined the role of spectators in ways we could never have dreamt of even just five years ago. The conference will include a number of high-profile speakers from the world of sport, sharing their experiences in how technology is leading in the race to create winners. This includes none other than Amy Williams, MBE, former skeleton racer and Gold Medal Winner at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. As the first British individual gold medallist at a Winter Olympics for 30 years, and the only British medallist at Vancouver, she’ll be revealing how technology helped her win in a sport where every 1000th of a second counts. We hope you will join us as we look at how technology is changing sport forever.
