Over 500 people attended the daylong event which saw a section of Water Lane closed off to traffic and filled with tables, chairs and entertainment. There was a family friendly zone at the back of Midnight Bell which attracted a lot of new faces and families to the area, the bouncy castle seemed to go down well with the kids! Jenny from Motivate gym put on some fun family activities which saw people compete in barrel and tyre racing, with great prizes for the winners.
With the addition of the Northern Craft fair and the Cross Keys and Out of the Woods providing street food and fancy cakes the atmosphere was great, made even better with the local craft ales on offer.
There was a good mix of music on the day with live acoustic acts and local DJs, the weather was on our side which encouraged people to stay longer and enjoy the laid back atmosphere.
